Speaking with Eurogamer, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings producer, and friend of AusGamers, Tomasz Gop, said that CD Projekt had an E3 announcement ace up their sleeve regarding The Witcher and that it was something "console gamers might be interested in".

Of course he couldn't go into detail about it, but this is hardly a surprise. In our interview with Tomasz earlier in the year, I asked him about the possibility of running the game on console to which he replied "I have seen [The Witcher 2] working on current-gen consoles... like, we ported parts of the game to make sure that it looks good," which you can take as a yes, this announcement is probably most definitely The Witcher 2 coming to next-gen consoles.

Stay tuned to for more as it becomes available.
