Thanks to the official E3 twitter account posting word that there will be a The Simpsons panel at the convention featuring writers and producers from the long-running animated series, many are wondering if it will be in relation to a game announcement at the show. Which is fair enough, as E3 is about games so it'd be weird to have a Simpsons panel without any sort of announcement.

That said, it'd definitely still be cool. And we'd be down for the writers and producers from the show to go through the long history of mostly bad and sometimes good Simpsons videogames. From the classic Simpsons Arcade release to Bart vs. the Space Mutants, to The Simpsons Hit & Run, and that terrible boxing game that we vaguely remember.

Or, something new.

The panel will take place as part of the E3 Coliseum on June 11 (which will be June 12 for us in ANZ) - where there's a chance it'll end up being some sort of Battle Royale set in Springfield.
