It's almost time! That's right, we're about 24 hours away from the full Nintendo Switch Reveal. That time when we'll should be getting a solid release date, price, and closer look at the system's capabilities. Plus, our first look at the Nintendo Switch library of games. Will we be getting a new Mario game? Will Zelda be finished in time for launch? Will, and this has been on the back of our minds for the best part of a decade now, we see a new Metroid Prime? Who knows, but you'd best chalk up the following times in your daily planner.
The full Nintendo Switch reveal will be happening in Tokyo, presented in Japanese with English voice over. The event will be streamed live across the world thanks to the internet, in particular YouTube and Twitch, and in Australia it kicks of Friday, January 13 at 3:00 p.m. AET. For those of us in the metropolitan paradise they call Melbourne. A full breakdown, state by state, of the times are:
Queensland: 2.00 PM, 13 January 13
Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales: 3.00 PM, January 13
Western Australia: 12:00 PM, January 13
Northern Territory: 1.30 PM, January 13
South Australia: 2.30 PM, 13 January 13
New Zealand: 5.00 PM, January 13
Following up from the main presentation there will be a Nintendo Treehouse Live Switch Game Stream event, similar to the E3 Zelda stuff from earlier this year where we can expect "an in-depth look at upcoming games". Sounds great, and that will be happening Saturday, January 14 at 1:30 AM AET.
We'll include more links as we get closer to the time.
