Huzzah! Unlimited storage capacity fans rejoice. Because the PS4's 4.50 update is all set to add external HDD support. Which means, just like with Xbox One, you can store any game and app content on just about any USB 3.0 drive -- with support of up to 8TB. Also you'll be able to move stuff from the internal to an external to boot.

The update, which hasn't got a release date but has been in the hands of testers for a little while now, also includes something called Boost Mode. Which, will allow for greater resource usage on older titles running on PS4 Pro hardware. Like a turbo button from a '90s PC, the feature is said to improve performance on games that saw unstable frame-rates.

This is good, I downloaded World of Tanks on PS4 to try it out, 54GB. It is 2 times larger than the PC version.
