It'll be a bit of a race between a handful of the most anticipated games this year, but if we're being honest, we're putting our money on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom taking out top honours as, at the very least, in the top three games of theyear and likely the biggest seller among the lot.

Here's an all-new gameplay video showing just why we think that.

As you can see in the video above, we get the best glimpse yet at a number of Link's new abilities in the highly-anticipated sequel, and given the longevity of Breath of the Wild and the amount of systems exploitation that game saw, we're thinking Tears of the Kingdom might go that extra step.

Honestly, May 12 can't come soon enough.

In addition to the video above, Nintendo Australia also dropped deets on a special edition OLED Nintendo Switch that is available now for pre-order, obviously stylised after the upcoming game.
The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition*, featuring a special design from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, will launch alongside the game on 12th May. This sleek new edition bears a design which appears in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, including the familiar Hylian Crest from the Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock.

Plus, two accessories – a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and a Nintendo Switch carrying case, both with special designs from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – will also release on 12th May.

Nintendo Switch – OLED Model features a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen, a wide adjustable stand, a dock with a wired LAN port (LAN cable sold separately), 64 GB of internal storage (a portion of which is reserved for use by the system), and enhanced audio in handheld and tabletop mode. Nintendo Switch – OLED Model can be played in three modes: TV mode, played on a TV while the system is docked; handheld mode, when the Joy-Con controllers are attached for portable play; and tabletop mode for on-the-go multiplayer gaming sessions. These versatile features are well-suited for the places your epic adventures may take you in-game or in life.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players decide their own path through the sprawling landscapes of Hyrule and the mysterious islands floating in the vast skies above. The journey is theirs to create in this sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, an epic adventure across the land and skies of Hyrule. In a world fuelled by imagination, players need to harness the power of Link’s new abilities to fight back against the malevolent forces that threaten the kingdom.
EB Games has the console at just under $550 dollarydoos, and Nintendo points out the SE does not come with the game. However, as per the link various bundles including the Pro Controller and game are also available for pre-order now.
