Nintendo has announced during this morning's January 2015 Direct that a brand new custom-themed New 3DS XL for the upcoming remake of their classic Legend of Zelda title, Majora's Mask, is due out in February.
According to Nintendo and the EB Games listing, the console will not include the game, nor will it include a charger. Those looking to grab the console will need to keep that in mind, though a separate charger can be sought for as little as $8 these days.
The bundle is currently only listed at EB Games for a price point of $249, though we aren't quite sure if that is limited to that specific retailer or will be open to others.
Japan's Nintendo Direct this morning was also fortunate enough to see a whopping 16-minute overview of the game, which you can check out below. The bundle is expected to be released on February 14th, so get in while stocks last.
Calling this a "bundle" is misleading and incorrect. It's not a 3DS Majoras Mask bundle, it's a 3DS Majors Mask edition. EB don't use the word 'bundle', neither does Nintendo - you seem to have added this word yourself for dramatic effect.
Haha yeah I've realised the use of bundle doesn't even work when I say there is no game. Still, so strange not to include the game. Not including the charger I understand, but no game is just weird.
"New Nintendo 3DS XL uses the same AC adapter as any Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo DSi system. Rather than raise cost of New Nintendo 3DS XL by charging consumers for a component they may already own, we are giving them the option to only buy if they need an AC adapter."
I never played Majoras Mask, so I might end up buying this. I have a flight to and from Toowomba at the end of Feb, so that'll make for good use of time ;)

It doesn't come with a cartridge, but I'm 90% sure they said during the Nintendo Direct that it's pre-installed on the system. It's the same thing they've done with their previous 3DS bundles.
