Ahead of its July 30th release next week (July 29th for America), 14 new screenshots of Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Remastered
have leaked online, showing off the gorgeous looking PlayStation 4 revision.
The new screenshots mainly show off the revamped 1080p resolution that many have been clamouring for since its original launch on the PlayStation 3 last year, however it also gives a glimpse at remastered texturing and shadows. Also found in the screenshots is far more detail in certain objects like fences, vehicles, water reflections and more importantly the character models. While it may not be in-action gameplay, the screenshots definitely do the revision justice in showing the new HD detail.
The Last of Us Remastered will be launching on PlayStation 4 exclusively come July 30th, and will include both the base game and its single-player expansion, Left Behind. It will also include the various multiplayer DLC maps plus a day one patch that will introduce inFamous: Second Son's Photo Mode for taking those perfect screenshots. Sadly, the game's multiplayer will be censored in both Europe and Australia, which you can
