Alongside their reveal of a next-gen Uncharted, Naughty Dog has also revealed Left Behind, the first piece of story-based DLC for The Last of Us.

Set before the events of the original PlayStation 3 game, Left Behind follows Ellie and her friend Riley as they check out a derelict shopping mall for kicks. As usual in a world filled with mutant people, they get into trouble.
Joining Ellie on this new adventure is Riley, her best friend and also a mentor of sorts at the military boarding school. Just as The Last of Us focused on the bond between Ellie and Joel, Left Behind explores the bond between Ellie and Riley through a series of events that will forever change both of their lives.
No price nor date was mentioned for Left Behind other than "early 2014."
