As in that's the launch date. Ahem. As the sequel to the popular sandbox prison-escape game, The Escapists 2 introduces up to four-player drop-in/drop-out co-op, in addition to a number of new features. Like pesky guard dogs, a bunch of new ways to escape, new combat and crafting options, and both an ice and orbital space prison.

As part of the pre-order campaign you can create your own prisoner over at www.theescapists2game.com. The Escapists 2 launches August 22 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. A Nintendo Switch version is also on the cards.
