Bethesda has re-launched the official website for their ambitious MMO The Elder Scrolls Online, with a few blog articles offering some new information on the game.

Like most game's official sites elderscrollsonline.com serves as a repository for all of the game's current video, screenshots and art, and a developer blog.

Two such blogs entries are now live, one serving up an overview of the game's lore, and another discussing some areas in ESO that should be familiar to players of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.
Today, we’re happy to share a behind-the-scenes developer article about the story, history, and timeline of The Elder Scrolls Online, authored by our very own Loremaster, Lawrence Schick. In this article, titled ‘Reading the Future of the Past in the Elder Scrolls’, Lawrence discusses how he wove ESO’s story into Tamriel’s existing timeline, why we chose the Second Era setting, and how we are collaborating with Bethesda Softworks to ensure lore consistency in ESO.

Can't wait for this - from the screenshots it appears the graphics will be of a lower standard than we've seen from skyrim though >_
