We’re now two months into the life of The Elder Scrolls Online, publisher Bethesda’s first foray into the MMO genre, that leveraged the vast lore of the flagship fantasy franchise previously only told in a well-honed single-player format.

So now that developer Zenimax Online Studios should have had enough time to work through any launch teething issues, the game’s first major content update has been rolled out, and a large portion of players have reached the level cap, how is the game’s health, and is there much value in a subscription beyond the initial 30 days included in the purchase price.
