The Elder Scrolls Online is currently free-to-play across all platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac, until April 18. During this time players will get full access to the Tamriel Unlimited base game. Plus they'll also get 500 Crowns to spend on pets, costumes, scrolls, and more. And as an added bonus all progress will be saved and recorded in the halls of Tamriel (i.e. the ESO servers), so if you do decide to buy the game you'll be able to pick up where you left off.
Also, as to ensure that Bethesda know exactly what they're doing when it comes to promotions like this, both the base game and the Gold Edition which comes with all the DLC packs released so far, will be discounted for the duration of the free-to-play week.
