Bethesda has released The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Why the sudden change in colour? Well, the Gold in Gold Edition means that it comes packed with all of the DLC content released so far -- of four there are, in total. No more, no less.

Ahem, excuse the sudden lapse into Yoda speak, but in addition to the Gold Edition a special Guilds and Glory DLC pack has been released for existing players. Which also gives them an easy way to purchase all of the existing DLC packs. After they try and work out what 5,000 Crowns means when it comes to real-world money that is.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition includes.

  • The Elder Scrolls Online core game content, including hundreds of hours of sweeping adventures across Tamriel
  • All four DLC Game Packs, featuring new quests, locations, and abilities, including:
    • Imperial City
    • Orsinium
    • Thieves Guild
    • Dark Brotherhood

  • A Palomino horse mount
  • 500 Crowns to spend in the in-game Crown Store for new game accounts

  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $99.95 and PC for $89.95.

Oh, and in regards to the PlayStation 4 Pro, Bethesda has announces that
The Elder Scrolls Online will natively run in 4K or an enhanced 1080p mode when the console launches in November.

    Check it out.

Playing eso atm. Good game if you liked Skyrim or Oblivion. I waited till they ironed the wrinkles out. It's now well refined. Works well in doing quests in teams of two. You can have larger groups. It's not pay by the month unless you want extras. Started a few weeks ago. Level 20. Joined a trade guild, trading on the markets, questing and hunting down bosses with friend, soloing class quests, can go to the pve zone. It's a massive world. Never had it crash. Looks incredible, and the combat is blocking, main attack, power attack, action bar skills, rolling out of the way. Works very well in combat. Great player model/skinning/animations. Skipping the dialogue is fast if you like me and don't care for the story so much. Will post some screenshots. It's a big download plus patches, but worth it. Great content.
