That is of course according to Ubisoft, who has spent a lot of time ensuring that the PC version of its upcoming online-shooty-multiplayer-thing The Division scales and supports a broad range of PC hardware. Including the beefier newer stuff on the market. With 4K support and a number of advanced effects in play, to make the most out of The Division's visuals you'll certainly need some serious hardware.
Here's the specs.

If you've upgraded or put together a rig specific for gaming in the past year or so then the recommended specs should be in line with what you have. In a recent post specific to the PC version of The Division Ubisoft listed
"8 Facts about the PC Version" which basically repeats that it will support both a traditional keyboard and mouse setup as well as one for controllers. And that the UI will change accordingly, as well as allow for separate customisation.
Apparently this makes it more than just a port. And in a sense Ubisoft are pretty spot on, considering the state of some high profile ports of late. The PC version is also included in the upcoming beta, so it's good to see this level of parity. Even if it should really be the norm as opposed to something we should celebrate.

they're opening up the market to AMD - though something tells me there will be a new (silent) Intel-backed 3rd competitor here.
Life goes on... nothing really changes
