So unless you've been living under a rock, no disrespect to the Dwayne Johnson household, you'll no doubt be aware that a certain multiplayer open-world third-person shooty thing from Ubisoft has come out. Of course we're talking about The Division, which is out now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As an online-only game review copies coincided with the release date, meaning no early access. So we won't have a review up for a while. But we're having a blast playing it, as probably a lot of you are too. So let us know what you think.
Based on time with the beta, and early parts of the game we're inclined to lean on the "believe the hype" train. A metaphorical locomotive of impressive speed. From the wonderful and evocative Manhattan to the seamless integration of the interface, The Division feels like the culmination of years of work. But of course we won't really know for sure until we've had a chance to go through all of the story content and spend some time stealing other people's hard-earned loot in the Dark Zone.
Assuming of course we're able to walk through one of the first doors in the game. In a fairly funny, in a "people are the worst" sort of way it turns out the realistic choice of having players not walk through each other in-game has led to groups of people
blocking doorways.
It's like Internet: The Game.
