And that's initially as one of two pre-order bonus characters where she joins Rey Mysterio as part of the game's pre-order campaign. In addition to her being playable, the trailer for her inclusion, which you can check out after the jump, also highlights her podcast appearance on Piper's Pit with the late, great Roddy Piper.

It's definitely cool that she's a character for the game, but a bit odd that it's only as a pre-order bonus. There's a good chance this sort of stuff will become available to everyone sometime after release, but with her star power, you'd think she should be available to everyone, right out of the gate.

Rousey, alongside former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio, will be available as bonus content for those who pre-order the game at participating retailers for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC. WWE 2K19 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on October 9, 2018, with Early Access players receiving their copies and in-game bonuses beginning four days early on October 5, 2018.
