A couple of weeks away, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release happening on September 6. The PC version, which looks be done right thanks to its native 4K capability and unlocked frame-rates, is due October 24 via Blizzard Battle.net. With that out of the way, today we get a rather meaty launch trailer for Destiny 2.

One that focuses on the improved cinematic ambitions of the sequel, which can clearly be seen in the footage (some of ti new) below.

Humanity has fallen. Villainous Dominus Ghaul has arrived on Earth with his Red Legion army to lay claim to the power he believes he alone is worthy to wield. Rally with the remaining survivors and rise up to defeat Ghaul before all is lost.

After the recent, and very successful beta, Destiny 2 is on track to become one of the biggest releases for 2017.
