While story-specific DLC is a narrative and gameplay boon for single-player experiences, especially if the world they're based in is rich and ripe for expanded exploration, in many ways it's also a curse -- the end is nigh, and all of that.

With Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches, the purported final DLC chapter in the Daud side-story for the game, this becomes abundantly clear early on as James "Jickle" O'Connor realised when firing up the piece. Knowledge of the end hurts the collectable side of the game, as well as its exploration despite his sheer joy at being able to visit Dunwall once more in fresh fashion. It is, to say the least, conflicting.
