We've had a trickle of teasing bits of the past few weeks for the hotly anticipated second season for Telltale's episodic adventure game The Walking Dead, and now there's an actual trailer.
The Walking Dead: Season Two continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. Left to fend for herself, she has been forced to learn how to survive in a world gone mad.
Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad -- and sometimes worse -- than the dead?
As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you, in this sequel to 2012's Game of the Year.
The new season is set to kick off with episode 1 on Steam next week on December 17th PST, but launch dates for the console and mobile platforms remain unconfirmed at this point. Watch the new video below.
Just started playing Wolf Among Us last night. Pretty awesome so far, I really hope Telltale are able to maintain that level of quality for their projects going forward. They're kinda turning into the HBO of games.
I love the way they've built their studio on iteration and revision. They seem to have taken their learnings from each episode and channelled them into the next. It's been a real pleasure to watch them grow.
A lot of studios only produce a handful of games that are only as long as single episodes of a Telltale game. At my count, Telltale have currently produced 85 episodes/games since 2005. That's a hell of a lot of content, and if you looked at each episode as a standalone game then they've probably made more games than just about any other studio in existence.
Looking forward to Season 2, but like I said earlier, I really hope they're up to the task of producing two high quality series side by side.

technically they're working on 4 games at once, but 2 are still fairly early (especially GoT which is in the research phase) so we probably wont see them until the end of 2014.
