Telltale has released the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy series, and if you've played their recent Batman or Walking Dead entries then you'll know what to expect. Based on the comic series and not the recent film, Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy features a cast of recognisable characters, with the level of humour the franchise is known for. Plus, there's a slow elevator in a sci-fi game gag.
Check it out.
The voice talent included Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series) as Star-Lord, Emily O'Brien (The Young and the Restless, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor) as Gamora, Nolan North (the Uncharted series, Pretty Little Liars) as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) as Drax, and Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us, League of Legends) as Groot.
Episode One "Tangled Up in Blue" is set to drop April 18 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS and Android. With a boxed copy packed with a Season Pass coming next month.
Even though this looks like its based more on their comic book looks, its still really jarring seeing a Star Lord that doesn't look and sound like Chris Pratt =\
