Though they're few and far between, we have a new tech review for you today focusing on a new set of high-end gaming headphones for PC and PS4 from Razer.
Here's a snippet from Barry McBruce's review:
We usually try to keep it pretty light with these tech reviews, but if you want to get technical, the MOWs are powered by a 50mm driver on each side, featuring Neodynmium magnets (see I told you it was magnets) with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. They weigh an approximate 375g and have a reported wireless range of of 12m via the 2.4Ghz transmitter. The boom mic is unidirectional with a signal-to-noise ratio of > 60 dB and a frequency response of 100 - 10 kHz and can be retracted inside the left earcup when not in use.
At the time of review the Razer Man O’War will set you back $330 AUD, which is a decent chunk of dollarydoos and frankly more than I would be willing to spend myself (on any set of headphones). If, however, you have that kind of money set aside for headphones that you will only use for your PC/PS4, then you could do a lot worse than the Razer Man O’Wars. They will lovingly caress your ears while serenading them with top notch surround sound.
