Having only just launched in Japan, Nintendo seems to already be breaking sale records with their newest Super Smash Bros. brawler passing the one million mark on the 3DS handheld.
Nintendo outlined that the one million sales includes both digital and physical releases during the game's first weekend, a smashing success no doubt. The company also noted that this milestone has placed it in the running with Monster Hunter 4 and Pokemon X&Y, which also sold one million copies in their first weekend.
Western fans will soon be able to join in on the fun come the game's launch in Australia on October 4th. Wii U fans will be entering the arena come "Holiday 2014," though recent rumours have suggested a November release window, but don't hold your breath.
