Which means this will be a new entry in the series that has secretly been worked on for sometime now, or an enhanced port of the Wii U release with new characters. Either way, Super Smash Bros. is coming!

Just in time too with Nintendo's online service set to debut later this year. Which makes Super Smash Bros. a prime candidate to become the flagship title that launches the service.



Although no details were announced, the teaser trailer confirms that new characters will be introduced - starting with the Inklings from Splatoon. Here's to a few more from Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.
