During this morning's early E3 2013-themed Direct, Nintendo has revealed what many fans of the series were eagerly awaiting for, a new Super Smash Bros. title. To help satisfy everyones needs Nintendo unveiled a trailer showcasing several old characters getting a freshen up, including Pikachu, Super Mario, Bowser, Zelda and Peach.

What wasn't expected however was the reveal of Capcom's most iconic character, Mega Man. Complete with a number of special abilities including his infamous blue particle gun, Mega Man will offer a variety of new moves to the character sheet that will definitely grow over time until release.

Of course it wasn't just Mega Man that was making a appearance on the roster, with the announcement of Wii Fit Trainer, the iconic silhouette character from the Wii Fit titles. Utilising a number of kung-fu style abilities, Wii Fit Trainer looks to offer a nice change in the roster which you can check out below.

Super Smash Bros. will be making its way to both the 3DS and Wii U in 2014. Nintendo has also opened up an official website detailing all currently revealed characters on the roster, but has also unveiled a new community inside the Wii U's Miiverse which you can now participate in.
