Capcom has released a new trailer for the PC/PS4 exclusive Street Fighter V. In this new video, alongside looks at fireballs and roundhouse kicks comes some detail on the new battle systems being implemented. And with names like V-Skills, V-Triggers, and V-Reversals, odds are that unless you're a Street Fighter devotee none of it will make much sense. But it sure does look pretty.

Okay, so V-Skills are unique skills that can be triggered with each character via pressing both medium attacks. They do not use up any of your V-Gauge and instead can be used strategically to quickly fill up your V-Gauge.

V-Reversals on the other hand will use up a part of your V-Gauge, and can be used to counter an opponents attack whilst blocking. This is a move that takes inspiration from the Street Fighter Alpha series. Which if you recall, is the one that people were playing in arcades long after you lost interest in the series.

Anyway, hopefully that clears some of it up. Street Fighter V is being developed using Unreal Engine 4 and will be releasing on the PS4 and PC in early 2016.

And for the first time in the series' history, Street Fighter V will support cross-platform play.
