With the addition of a full cinematic story mode, one packed with all manner of nonsense and silliness, Street Fighter V finally looks like the complete package that was originally promised. Of course, as a fighting game the longevity lies mainly in the competitive side of the game, but story and the Street Fighter universe have gone hand in hand since the '90s. With this being one of the best efforts yet.

There's a trailer for the new mode, which is free to all players.

And for those that just want to site back and watch it unfold in the form of an animated film, there's this.

It's impressive stuff, and no doubt something that must have taken Capcom a long time to put together. The way that it jumps from character to character and location to location in such a stylish and energetic fashion is commendable.
