First the price point for the return to pure Star Wars dogfighting - and we're happy to report that it's a very wallet friendly $49.95 across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As per the announcement from overnight Star Wars: Squadrons will support cross-play for its 5v5 multiplayer, meaning it wont matter what platform you choose - you'll have access to the entire game and community.

On PC the game will be release across Origins, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Pre-order pages are live on all three services (linked in their naming above) where getting in early will unlock the following cosmetics on day one.

In addition to this the minimum, recommended, and VR specs for the game have been revealed. On that fron it has been confirmed that the entirety of Star Wars: Squadrons will be playable in Virtual Reality, which is very cool - supporting all major platforms there too. PSVR, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and Oculus Rift. This no doubt crosses off one massive VR bucket list item we've all been carrying around for years - becoming Red Two.

Specs-wise it looks like the game will scale well and you wont need a beast to run it at the recommended settings. Though, playing in 4K for some will be the only way to fly. And by some we mean us, so this ties in nicely with upgrading our rig in time for Cyberpunk 2077.
