A lot has happened since we last checked in on Star Wars Battlefront. A new Star Wars: Rogue One-themed expansion is available now for Season Pass holders. As expected it comes packed with content from the new Star Wars film, with a new map and mode centered around climatic events from the movie. For Xbox One and PC players, the game has also been added to the EA and Origin Access subscription services. A year after its initial release. And finally, a free PlayStation VR mission has been released for owners of the game on PS4. Developed by Criterion.
By all accounts, like a lot of VR offerings, it's relatively short. But as it provides an in-cockpit perspective of flying an X-Wing you can be sure that it ticks off a slot on many a VR bucket list.
Here's a trailer for the Rogue One DLC called 'Rogue One: Scarif'.
One thing's for certain, even a year after its initial release, the game still looks amazing.
