Square Enix has announced the next major release from I Am Setsuna developer, Tokyo RPG Factory. Oninaki is an all-new action RPG inspired by JRPGs of the past, but is designed to take advantage of modern hardware, the publisher says.

Here's the official line from Square Enix:
Following the critically acclaimed I Am Setsuna™ and LOST SPHEAR™, Tokyo RPG Factory’s ONINAKI takes inspiration from classic Japanese role-playing games to create a brand-new experience for modern technology. With exciting new action-RPG gameplay, players will explore the world as a mysterious Watcher named Kagachi, duty-bound to sever the bonds that tie the Lost to this world. With Kagachi’s guidance, these wandering souls in the world of the Beyond can continue the cyclical process of reincarnation over again.
