High-production live action story mixed with real-time action, Square Enix's The Quiet Man is a new cinematic thing coming to PlayStation 4 and Steam - offering up a full interactive story that can be completed or experienced in a single sitting. So probably movie length. Aside from our cheeky headline, and the boyish good looks and locks of the main character, what we see in the latest trailer is pretty impressive.

And creepy too, as this looks to be more horror than action.

Unravelling across a single night, players take the role of protagonist Dane, who cannot hear, as he fights his way through a “soundless” world to discover the motives behind the kidnapping of a songstress, Lala, by a mysterious masked man.

Not sure how the soundless world will play into the live action parts, but it'll be interesting to see if The Quiet Man pulls off the transition to real-time action without looking too weird or jarring.
