Which, is only a couple of weeks out. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered brings back the original PlayStation-era classic with a few visual improvements and a couple of gameplay ones too.
Like the ability to disable random battles, and focus on the story and main story encounters. Plus a cheat mode of sorts where 'God Mode' is tunred on and you get full health and access to never ending Limit Breaks. The Steam version will expand on this with the ability to get all the Gil (money) and items you need for the low cost of being a no good Cheater.
Here's a look at a new trailer. And if you haven't played the game before bear in mind this is something from the 1990s.
It is a time of war.
The Republic of Galbadia, under the influence of the sorceress Edea, mobilizes its great armies against the other nations of the world.
Squall and other members of SeeD, an elite mercenary force, join hands with Rinoa, a resistance fighter, to fight against Galbadia's tyrannical rule and to prevent Edea from fulfilling her ultimate goal.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will be out for PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) on September 3, 2019.
