This one was a definite pleasant surprise, with Sony confirming that Insomniac's brilliant Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PS5 is coming to PC on August 12, 2022. Plus, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch later in 2022 too. As per the trailer the 'alpha' real-time cinematic footage looks awesome running in 4K.
The PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will support ray-traced reflections ala the PS5 version, with PC specific features to be revealed at a later date.
In Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, the worlds of Peter Parker and Spider-Man collide in an original action-packed story. Play as an experienced Peter Parker, fighting big crime and iconic villains in Marvel’s New York. At the same time, Peter’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of Marvel’s New York rests upon his shoulders. Following the events of the main story of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, experience the continuation of Peter Parker’s journey in Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC, three story chapters with additional missions and challenges.
As per the trailer this is coming via Nixxes Software, one of Sony's more recent first-party acquisitions and veterans of high-quality console to PC translations. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store.
