European publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing, the officially licensed Warhammer 40,000 first person shooter currently in development at France-based Streum on Studio.
Space Hulk: Deathwing is being built on Epic Games powerful new Unreal Engine 4 tech, and this "first in-game trailer" (but let's call it in-engine) showcases the meticulous level of detail the developers are putting into creating the iconic Dark Angels space marine squad, the Deathwing Terminators.
The elite squad of the Space Marines repels the attacks of the Genestealers with heavy fire from their Storm Bolters and Assault Cannons, destroying the most reckless creatures with crushing blows from Force Swords and Power Fists. You can see the incredible level of detail on the smallest game elements: the Tactical Dreadnought Armour of the Deathwing Terminators, their weapons, the Genestealers, and the backdrop are all rendered with a care that will astound any fan of Warhammer 40,000!
Space Hulk: Death Wing is due on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2015.
^^ Space Marine looked the goods at the time, and we all know how that turned out. I love the idea of an awesome 40k game, but every time it has continuously fallen short, forgive me if I expect nothing more than that from this outing as well.
Yeah the most important thing to do with this game is take the boardgame and ignore it. Sweet Jesus it sucked ass. If its just Space Marine in a space hulk vs genestealers then giddy up.
