And it looks cool with its two-tone white and black look, perhaps a glimpse at what the PlayStation 5 console itself will look like. Also the naming, DualSense comes from the new-look ergonomic shape that builds on the successes of the DualShock 4 with the addition of haptic feedback in the triggers and a built-in microphone.

And now the glamour shots! According to Sony this final design comes after hundreds of mock-ups over the past few years.

Here are the features:
  • Designed with ergonomics and playability in mind
  • New features added without increasing bulk or size
  • The DualSense 'Create' button replaces the 'Share' button on the DualShock 4
  • Built-in microphone will support chat with friends
  • Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers incorporated into L2 and R2

“DualSense marks a radical departure from our previous controller offerings and captures just how strongly we feel about making a generational leap with PS5," said Jim Ryan, President & CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment. "The new controller, along with the many innovative features in PS5, will be transformative for games – continuing our mission at PlayStation to push the boundaries of play, now and in the future. To the PlayStation community, I truly want to thank you for sharing this exciting journey with us as we head toward PS5’s launch in Holiday 2020. We look forward to sharing more information about PS5, including the console design, in the coming months.”

I am not digging the white and black theme, Just make it white or black. I would have to try it to see if I would like it. I hope everyone switches to Xbox for the new Generation.
