With the new CUH-7200 version of the PlayStation 4 Pro hardware rolling out as part of the new Red Dead Redemption 2 bundles. Where on the surface it looks exactly like any other PS4 Pro, but lacks the 'Jet Engine' noise that many found to be quite distracting with the launch version of the PS4 Pro.

Digital Foundry notes that the new version of the PS4 Pro is quieter under full load, with 44dB/48dB noise levels recorded on the top/rear of the console versus the 50dB/55dB of the launch edition. Although it features the same form factor the new revision does seem to alter the cooling and as a trade-off runs about 4-6 degrees hotter than the launch version.
