Ahead of the release next month, Sony has revealed a new FAQ on their official PlayStation 4 website offering more details on Sony's policies when it comes to game sharing on its upcoming next-generation console system.

One of the main features revealed in the FAQ is the ability for owners of a PlayStation 4 to share digital software purchases to any account on that console, meaning you won't be barred from your brother or sister's game purchases. Sony also states that PlayStation 4 owners can access another console that isn't their own, however only one account can access the software at a time. This also means that while your PlayStation Network account can be used on other PS4 consoles, it can be active on only two consoles at once: the user's primary console and one other.

PlayStation Plus has also been updated now to allow one subscription per console or household, meaning one PlayStation Plus subscription can be active across all accounts on that console. To make things slightly confusing PlayStation Plus can also be accessed from any other console, though the original subscriber needs to be logged in.

If this has you scratching your head, check out the official website for further information including a few handy flowcharts to help understand exactly how everything works.

The PlayStation 4 will be available come November 29th.

So Sony are doing what MS already did with the 360?
