After announcing their worldwide partnership earlier this month, Nintendo and Sega have unleashed a handful of details via
Sega's Blog for Sonic Lost World, the Nintendo-exclusive platformer expected for Wii U and 3DS.
Those looking to grab the game on the Wii U will be happy to know that full GamePad support will be available, allowing off-TV play and "exclusive Wii U Colour Powers can be controlled with the Wii U GamePad by tilting, touching, aiming and more." For the more mobile user, the 3DS will feature "fully realised 3D levels which include exclusive Special Stages and Colour Powers unique to the Nintendo 3DS system."
In his latest plot to defeat Sonic and rule the world, Dr. Eggman has harnessed the power of six menacing creatures known as the Deadly Six. However, when the Deadly Six rise up against their new master, Sonic must unite with his arch nemesis Eggman and explore the mystical Lost Hex in order to take them on head-to-head. Use Sonic's amazing new moves and incredible Color Powers to speed across a variety of unique terrains, racing inside, outside and upside down in every level.
Sonic Lost World will also be featuring various co-op and multiplayer modes, including the ability for Wii U players to have a friend pilot radio controlled gadgets to help Sonic. 3DS players will gain access to both local and online game modes, and the option to share your gadgets between both Nintendo platforms.
