When we got our first look at Sonic Frontiers, the "open-zone platforming adventure", the environments we saw looked a little bland. With the release date for the game now set for November 8 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, the new 'Story Trailer' does a lot to raise our hype levels for this brand-new open-world Sonic game.

With more varied and detailed locations, some classic renditions of levels and visuals from the Mega Drive era, and some serious speed - this is now looking pretty good.
