With Twitter user Strife212 doing the ingenious thing of using 15GB of the GeForce RTX 3090's whopping 24GB of VRAM to create a virtual drive. To install Crysis 3. With the VRAM of the 3090 presenting 24GB of GDDR6X memory at 19.5Gbps, it is easilly faster than any hard-drive out there, with Strife noting that Crysis 3 "loads very fast".

She used a program called VRAM Drive to make it happen, and as per below the left over memory was more than enough to run Crysis 3 at over 70fps.

I installed Crysis 3 on my graphics card!

I used some VRAMdrive software called GPU Ram Drive, made a 15GB NTFS partition on the GPU, then installed Crysis 3 on it

Of course, the very nature of VRAM means this is not a thing that should happen, but thanks to the immortal question that is "Can it run Crysis?" we're glad it did.
