SMITE's closed beta on Xbox One has just been upgraded to an open beta, and the team are inviting everyone and their nans to come in and have a crack.

Last week Hi-Rez revealed that the Xbox One version of SMITE would have its own dedicated servers up for the open beta, which appears to be the case right now. They've also reminded us that while the Xbox One is enjoying a bit of media love, the PC is fiercely being used a proving ground for the Oceania Pro League Qualifier:
The PC esports Pro League is being determined this weekend, which all leads to the Regional Championship at PAX Australia, and a team being selected for SMITE World Championships. More info can be found right here.
