In development since the launch of Skyrim all the way back in 2011, Enderal: The Shards of Order is a pretty ambitious project. An entirely new RPG built using the Creation Kit with new locations, characters, and story, all set outside of the Elder Scrolls universe. With a German release expected this weekend, a full English voiced release is due later in July. Trailer after the break.

The amount of work that probably went into creating this free RPG (you'll need a copy of Skyrim to run it though) is impressive. And the following trailer certainly sells it as a grand open world experience.



Enderal comes from SureAI, the same team behind the Oblivion total conversion Nehrim.
