As per the naming, Skyblivion is the name given to one of the most ambitious fan mod projects currently in development a complete remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion using the Skyrim engine. Having first reported on it years ago this new 20-minute developer deep dive showcases some of the impressive work completed so far.

Where not only are iconic locales and cities being remade, but improved with more detailed layouts born from concept art and new diverse cave and dungeon systems based on regional climates.



A lot of progress has been made, with the team noting that even though there's still more to come - it fully expects to see this one through. And as per above, getting to see this amount of care and thought put into every corner of Cyrodiil is impressive to say the least.
