As far as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim mods go this is definitely one of the most ambitious and impressive we've seen. And it's something we've been tracking the progress of too, with the latest Developer Update showcasing the incredible level of detail going into the project.

From Goblin designs and clans and behaviors to every element being recreated with new models and textures to the team of fans making changes to unique weapons (making them more fun and special to equip), it's all looking fantastic.



Also we get a good look at some of the cities, including Bruma, which look fantastic with the new art and in the updated engine. In terms of progress we learn that recreating all assets is getting close to being finished and the light, so to speak, is starting to appear at the end of the tunnel. No doubt a full remake of Oblivion would be a huge undertaking for even a sizable studio, so the fact that this is being worked on by a passionate group of fans speaks volumes.
