At the somewhat ungodly hour of Friday, July 8 at 4AM AEST, though this will be the time we finally get to see more
Skull & Bones. A game
Ubisoft announced
back in 2017, a game set during the Golden Age of Piracy with a planned 2018 release. Wind the clock a bit closer to 2020 and it was reported that the game was still in development but being rebooted.
Which brings us to Friday, July 8 where - to quote a line that's probably from a movie or trailer - all will be revealed. The worldwide gameplay reveal will probably provide a release date or release window too, with rumours swirling that Skull & Bones is on track for a late 2022 release. Will it retain the same focus on multiplayer? Will it look at little more like Rare's Sea of Thieves? Will there be a single-player campaign?
This has definitely been a long time coming, and with that we're excited to see how the game is shaping up.
