The Silent Hill series has always been a staple shadowy horror series for videogames. Constantly trumped by its survival-horror rival, Resident Evil, the series has still managed to build itself a solid army of devout followers, and with good reason. Resi might be all schlock and B-Grade, but Silent Hill gets in your head and festers there long enough to not only put you on edge, but require you to complete the game for your own peace of mind.

The latest of offering, Silent Hill: Downpour, has been a long-time coming and Australia, unsurprisingly, gets it last, but that doesn't mean we've ignored its arrival this month, giving review duties to Jickle.
