And it features a very gool "aging mechanic". From the studio behind Absolver, Sifu is a new martial arts action game with a focus on exactly that - martial arts. As per the developers, "Kung Fu is the mastery that comes from a life of training and practice", and the moves we see in this new gameplay slice look like something from a great Kung Fu film.

So yeah, instead of lives there's an aging mechanic that sees the martial arts master age every time they're knocked down. And instead of getting slower or weaker with age, like any great master growing older adds experience, skill, and know-how. That said, at some point things will reset - as even a Kung Fu master can only fight for so long.

The animation here is excellent, to the point where it's more apt to call it choreography. Sifu is on track for an early 2022 release for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and we can't wait to play it.
