The N64 era classic
Shadow Man is getting the remaster treatment courtesy of Nightdive Studios (see: Turok, Doom 64, and the upcoming System Shock remake) and is set to make its debut on April 15 on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Game Store. With 4K support and no more N64-blur, the remaster presents the tale of Michael LeRoi with modern visual effects and widescreen support.
Originally released in 1999 for the PC, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and Dreamcast, SHADOW MAN: REMASTERED follows Michael LeRoi, the current holder of the voodoo warrior moniker “Shadow Man”, as he battles the forces of darkness attempting to cross-over from their realm into the world of the living. Join Michael as he fights his way through the swamps of Louisiana, the back alleys of New York City, and the dark and terrifying land of Deadside in his mission to keep supernatural threats from invading the land of the living.
Where still talking N64 era 3D graphics though, but as per the before and after screens below it's a definite improvement.
Shadow Man Remastered even supports HDR. With the PC release set for April 15, those wanting to play this on console will need to wait a little longer.
