Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam on February 15, 2018. For those that have played the classic RPG from Square Enix back in the 16-bit days of the early '90s, no doubt this news will come as a very welcome surprise. In addition to new 3D visuals, there's also be a re-recorded score and full voices too.

Check it out.

Originally release in 1993, Secret of Mana hold a special place in a lot of people's gaming history. So this new look will no doubt ruffle a few feathers. Personally, I'd prefer it if they redrew all the 2D art and animation in HD ala the recent LucasArts remasters.

I saw this advertised by PlayStation, didn't realise it was coming out on Steam as well. This is one of my favourite games ever and I think it looks quite good.

$US40 is a bit steep TBH and I agree that I would probably have preferred a 2D remaster. Going to wait for the price to drop.
