Gearbox has released some new screenshots detailing the first campaign add-on pack for Borderlands 2, featuring some quite enthusiastic pirates. Titled 'Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty', its obvious that this DLC will be quite a pirate themed party, no doubt with themed weapons and of course pirate ships.
Available for download on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 beginning next Tuesday, October 16, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty is the first of the four add-on campaigns announced for Borderlands 2 and will be available for $9.99 / 800 Microsoft Points by itself or as part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass which bundles all four campaign add-ons for $29.99 / 2400 Microsoft Points.
Gearbox has also released a new trailer featuring the newest class, Gaige the Mechromancer. With a guided outline by Sir Hammerlock, the trailer showcases some of the unique features that Gaige and her deadly robot bring to the battlefield, including some very electric moves.

You can check out the screenshots and trailer below, and also swing by our game page for more of the pirate-themed DLC and our review.
