With the release of Saints Row out later this month (check out our hands-on here), to help celebrate Melbourne-based craft beer specialists Moon Dog is collaborating to create a special “Keep It Strange, Santo” Pale Ale. Named are the game's fictional locale of Santo Ileso, it's set to become available on August 18.

The new drop will be available to purchase at Moon Dog venues, Moon Dog World & Moon Dog O.G (Victoria) as well as online for $9.00 AUD.

There's also a launch event happening at Moon Dog's Victorian brewery, Moon Dog World in Preston on August 18. Those who attend will be able to go hands-on with Saints Row's impressive standalone Boss Factory app to customise and create their own Boss. And there will be prizes up for grabs too alongside media guests, "celebrity guests, and well-known streaming personalities" so be sure to keep tabs on the Facebook event page for details.

“Leaning into the world of Saints Row and the outlandish in-game characters, it was easy for our team to find inspiration and create an epic launch event with a bespoke beer to match,” said Miro Bellini, Moon Dog Brewing Brand Manager.

The Saints Row reboot is out August 23 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (Epic Games Store).
